Medical camps for poor as part of Centenary celebrations

As part of YSS centenary celebrations, the Chandigarh centre held several medical camps in 2017-18. These camps also included dental health check-up, free distribution of necessary drugs and Basic Laboratory investigations.

These camps were held at Ramgarh (25 February 2017), Shahzadpur (11 March 2017), Mottanwala (19 March 2017), Kakkarmajra (2 January 2018), Khatola village (19 February 2018) among others. All these places are near Chandigarh, in district Panchkula of Haryana State.

More than 1500 people benefited from these camps. Blankets and winter clothing was also distributed among the poor. Book stall and banners were displayed in all camps and questions of eager people were answered by senior devotees who volunteered - Ram Lal Ast, T.K. Arora & Mukesh Gupta.

The camps were led by Dr Satvir Chaudhary, Surgeon. Among other doctors who participated were: Dr Kamla Sharma (Gynaecologist), Dr Agarwal (Surgeon), Dr Chakshu Chaudhary (Child Specialist), Dr Majithia & Pramila Chaudhary (Dentists), and Dr Pallavi Joshi.
